Anyway, if someone pays with a debit card or funds the payment with money from their bank account, the chargeback option isn't there. They will flat out be sht out of luck. Even if you were smart enough to have used a credit card though, it will still take quite a bit of work (and time) to get your money back. Yes, it is very easy when someone simply doesn't ship anything to you. When you are shipped
something though, it takes work. If someone sends you bricks, there's police reports and a lot of other paper work involded (faxing sht to Paypal and to your credit card company, etc.). You're looking at ATLEAST a month of dealing with all that. Now, I've never had to deal with a non-working item but I would think that you'd have to prove it arrived that way. I know one thing though, Paypal will not care whether or not it arrived working -especially when it is a purchase that wasn't made on
ebay. All they care about is that the tracking number is showing that a package was delivered. Sure, they may string you along for a month or so asking for repair estimates and sht like that but, trust me, they will NOT give you any money back in the end. Your credit card company will probably be more helpful but I'm sure they'll want some proof as well.
