JL 12w7 & 1000/1
Its time to let my babies go. I hit a financial rut and gotta sell everything, so here it is. First, you're lookin at one of the finest 12" woofers on the market, JL Audio's W7. I bought it about 2 months ago, and its been installed in my car just under a month and has been absolutely babied! There are no scuffs, rips, tears, or any imperfections on or around the surround/cone of the woofer. When I bought it, it was brand new and had never seen power, so I'm really the first owner of it. It was run very conservatively off my 1000/1 with the gains set well below what they could have been, so I can assure you this sub was never clipped or hammered hard. SUB BOX
The box that I had this sub in has a port that I kerfed using a skill saw and 13 slits cut 1/2" apart from each and was also reinforced. The specs/dimensions for this box are as follows:
1.75 cubic feet tuned to 32Hz
16" DEEP x 14" TALL x 30.25" WIDE
This box gave this sub exceptional quality with a ton of impact! I built it back in early March and the box was carpeted with charcoal carpeting & the sides inset 3/4 of an inch to allow for a seamless match. JL 1000/1
The last thing that is up for sale is the JL 1000/1. I bought this at the same time as I purchased the sub and it too was in immaculate condition with only a couple real minor scratches on the surface of the amp. It only ran the 12W7 and it did so exceptionally well with the gains, as I said before, set very conservatively. I am looking for $425 shipped/pp'd for this Amp.
