Sold F/S: Exodus Audio Shiva - X 12" w/ scratchy coil, xbl2 motor, 27mm xmax

i have for sale, an Exodus Audio Shiva - X 12" sub that has a scratchy coil. it isn't really usable as is but could possibly be reconed by somebody who knows how to do it.

the coil is miss-aligned, not burnt, if that makes a difference.

i'm thinking $80 plus actual UPS shipping costs.

nah, i'm not that mean. i couldn't do that to it.

i'd try to recone it, but i've never done it, and even if i was successful i have no use for it.

it probably isn't to bad. once i noticed what it was doing i stopped using it. i didn't abuse it, just tested it and that's it.

if somebody wants to play with it go for it.

yea. I have to be careful on the money I spend along with how much space I am taking up. I have a roommate and I pretty much claimed our dining room as my storage room... what size coil does the motor have? looks like maybe 2.5

i'm not really sure. is there an accurate way to measure it? i have it in the same room with me and could check if it's something that can be done.

not too much you can do if the sub is still in tact. you could measure across the tripple joint

i would have to say it's a 2.5".

that's pretty common right? i'm sure somebody could recone it.

and to the other guy, i just looked on their website and they say it has a 2.5" coil.

yea thats the same as a brahma mkIV motor. I can recone that
