has this ever been used with an amplifier for the highs? Why I ask is, because alot of Pioneer head units had the dreaded grounding issue with the preouts, and my question is if theis has that problem. (IE: when you change tracks, you can year the motor thru the preouts, but not thru the actual internal amp of the head unit)

no it never had a grounding issue....i had it happen on my 860 but not this deck

saturn is very correct on his statement...ive only lucked out and had that happen to like 1 out of 15 pioneer HU's ive owned..im always upgrading haha

yeah, ok...you do that. I want to see pics of you soldering new grounds to the diodes on the output channels on the motherboard of that radio //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif .... because the grounding the RCA sheath trick doesnt work very well.
