i have a DD 99z12 I'm selling for $1250 shipped...this is a great sub for SPL....it is a dual .5 voicecoil....It has the silver metalic composite cone...and a fresh recone...it does have a slight coil rub..that doesn't effect SPL....it has a paper dustcap..but comes with a brand new matching silver metalic dustcap...

Only take 3k daily for music?!?!? Are you serious....only? I dont care what manufacturers say, no sub can actually take more than 2k 24 hours in a day, period!! Why would you want that much on a daily driver. Now, the coils on this sub are thick, how ever, all the resistant glue on all coils have a melting point. When you continously put that kind of heat on it, it comes apart. But when you use a sub for spl, you can usually put about 3-6 times more power to it. Thats like you cant hold a simple lit match continuously (rms). But for 2 seconds you can move hot wood in a camp fire (burping).
