I have 6 funkin audio subs they are dual 4s rated at 500 rms but ive put 2000 to 1 of them i had a while back and never got stinky 3inch voice coil 4 of them are new 2 of them have very lil play time very nice sub im looking for some other subs just let me know what you have i. here are some pics 550 for all of them. let me know what kind of subs you have. i will try to have pics with s/n tonight

Just because you were using a 2kw amp doesn't mean you were actually giving the sub 2kw of power...I can run that same amp to a tweeter but that doesn't mean it can handle 2kw.
