yeah i think my EA 300A is doing worse at idle than my stock alt.

go with db linc heard awesome things about them cheap prices and good cs.I just ordered mine should be here soon cant wait

db electric? mine sucked from them just a rebuilt with a stronger stator no where near rated amps. I got one local that was better from a local rebuild shop

also alts have 3 diodes in it, if you ever have a short to ground you burn 1 maybe 2 of them out there for no voltage and no out put,, i also had that wen my crx short circuit with my kinetik 2400, burnt the alt and melted the dam bolts that hold the valve cover on, right off

let me guess no fuses?

eh my ea alt in my celica runs great, had it about 1 year now.

sad thing is I ordered it then retired the celica after I got it so no point in the alt lol..

my reg on my EA alt was out the first couple of minutes of using it, it jumps from 12 volts to 14 like crazy up and down:crap:

My Iraggi has been champin' it for 3 years this Fall.

I think alot of times you guys's cars idle too low to get good voltage. You can turn up your idle RPMs by a couple hundred and turn the alt that much faster... It's not difficult

im not talking about that company im talking about db linc designs totally different company man sorry
