extremly loose ground causing secondary issue with amp?

So the other day I noticed that the subwoofers were sounding ok at about 10% volume anything past that would cause them to fall out and make strange noises. Come to find out I had a very looks ground that was going to my secondary battery I figured I would just tighten it up and everything would be fine. After tightening up and turning on it didn't work. From there I removed headunit and tried switching the rcas to a different output. I then put them back and now I have no output at all even back on the subwoofer output. Heres my question with a loose ground would that cause my ground inside of the amplifier that goes to the rca outputs to malfunction?

loose grounds will cause voltage problems. just being tighter doesn't mean there wasn't arcing or corrosion. check all fuses and then use a DMM to verify voltage at the amp and remote relative to the amp ground terminal.

also, remove the ground and make sure there is no rust, corrosion etc.

Who would of thought after ripping everything apart and regrounding blah blah dash apart blah blah 5 hours invested....the fust under the hood no signs of it being blown was the cause of this whole issue. 100 amp glass fuse. Anyone else ever had this issue?
