Extremely stupid and most likely useless question

Not like those aren't asked 1000 times a day on here, but anyway...

I got it for virtually nothing. Now, I lied. I actually have two stupid questions. The first one: Is the digital read out for the wattage on this thing accurate enough to even both with? And the second, uber stupid question: How the #### do you get the thing to light up to begin with?! I have my 1/0 main power wire running to it and then 2 runs of 4 guage to my 2 amps. The digital display does not light up. It looks like there is a metal piece running to one of the mounting screws. Is this a ground for the digital display? I don't have it mounted to anything yet.

yeah you would have to ground it somehow for the electric stuff to work...

I highly doubt it will be accurate.

Yes you will need to bolt it down to ground it. That will make the display work.

EDIT: looks like it is only for voltage. Not for wattage. It should be fairly close.

Yeah, sorry guys, I realized it was voltage, just a mistype. Cool, I was hoping it would be fairly accurate. I'm running my amp at 1 ohm, so I want to make sure it's getting a good constant current flow. I'll hook that ground up somehow and check it out. Thanks!
