extreme heat bad bad for brahmy-wahmy?

forgive me for asking cuz it could be a stupid questions, but with recently hot-as-poop weather- could exteme heat harm my oh-so-beuatiful brahma in my trunk? it gets reeeeal hot in there at times, cuz the car does a lot of sitting in the driveway, but the idea that a lot of heat could end up damaging the surround or something popped into my head 10 mins ago...
