Extra Ground Question

your electrical system is a circuit, it is only as strong as its weakest link.

and the path through the car isnt always as solid as it should be.

and the short ground thing doesnt really make sense if you think about it.

even if you do have a short ground run it still has to travel through the car, so it really isnt that short.

Haha here are my grounds up front they are the alt the body the frame the motor in back they are the frame x 2 up to the front to the alt and to the body x 2 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

hmmm.... i never really thought about it that way.... that makes sense. i guess i will add another run, i have 2 batts in back should i run a ground to each from front batt or just one run? the back 2 are connected to each other now as well

also your best bet for a ground spot is usually a bolt somewhere on the alt case, and run your powers from the alternator post as well.
yea i have the powers ran from alt as well as from batt. i have the big 3 done plus 1 extra ground. and grounded to alt case. the back batts are ground to frame 2x grounds. and those batts have a 2x grounds connecting them together. so ill probly add one from front batt to back batts as well

i would use 1 run from front to back. the rear 2 are already connected. but more is better. you could do 2.
yea i have 2x grounds for pretty much everything in my truck. probly will add the extra ground from front to back then
