ok so i just got my vr2000d hooked up and i have a voltage drop way bad!! but i knew i'd have this when i hooked it up to a stock electrical system. so what i'm wondering my buddy has this batt thats sitting at 12.7 volt and it's been sitting for around 3 to 4 months. i asked him what size it is and he told me it's 100ah batt. so i'm wondering if this is a good batt or not? would this work good for a extra batt in the back?

did u do a big 3 yet, what battery is it?
yea i forgot to say that the big three is done. and i'm not sure thats the thing. if i knew what it was then i'd just look it up myself but all i know about the batt is that it's 100ah. so i was wondering if anyone could tell me anything just from that

does it have removable tops on it if so dont put it in your car for a back battery u need a sealed battery, do u have any pics of it or possible to look at it if so u should be able to figure it out

ok i finally got the modle number and it's UB30H. so would this be a good second batt? i can get it pretty **** cheap thats why i'm wondering

there are a few posts floating around about those batteries, maybe not that one exactly but ones like it. they are used in large un-interuptable power supplies. I just havent seen anyone post anything after actually using one. If it were me i would wire it up and see how it works and let the rest of us know if it does. Here are a few links to some of the other similar bateries.

I may be ordering one myself in about 2 weeks to try out.

i'll let you know how it works. i'm charging it over night then i'll throw it in and hopefully it'll work out great. my buddy has the same exact car and same exact amp but in his trunk he's got a stinger batt. so my guess without having to change out batts it'll give me a pretty close comparison.
