Extended Cab Trucks

What kind of scores did you do? Interesting setups.
ive only had the 2 15"s metered. in the "box" (not the full wall), on the dash i was doing about 147.5 sealed up on music, 148.8-148.9 w/ drivers window down some.

with the wall, highest i got sealed up on the dash was low 149's. 149.9 w/ window cracked. didnt have time to try doors open, it should of broke 150 with some more testing and time.

I have competed in USACI (SB3).. (TL in kick) i was doing 150.x's 30 second average, starting the run at 151.6. all this on music. i was happy with it, all the boxes had low tuning for music, between 30hz and 38hz

Not bad for the tuning.

I burped my single 15" R sealed on the dash for the first time the other day and was surprised by the score it did. I figured it would be lower.

Does anyone have any decent setups that still allow seating in the back?
you could do this...

and leave your seat(s) mounted in front of it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Haha yeah.

I am just looking at some of the new trucks that are out, and just thinking that they are awesome. But if it's a new truck, then blow-throughs are not an option.

Interesting replies....I have a Dodge Dakota ext cab that I'm about to put a system into.

I am pretty seasoned with installing audio gear and getting the best sound out of it, but I've never installed anything in an ext cab truck.

I have a Fi Q 12 in a 2.5 cf @ 28hz box that BJ built awhile back...used to be in my Acura, in my av.

The only way I'd be able to fit it in the truck would be either sub and port up, or sub and port down. (without building a new box of course)

You guys think I'll really notice a difference down firing huh? I'll probably try both, but I'm kind of happy I came across this thread...discuss.
