Hey guys hate to interrupt ur thread but I'm in a similar situation, I have a 98 Ram ext cab and want to put in 2 CVX 15's and I need a box design. I removed seat and have built false floor I'm gonna push em with 2400 watts and not really going for spl just want em to sound gOod any ideas

anyways.... Whats everyone's opinion on port area per cube? Keep in mind this will be a balanced box between SPL and SQ.

anything around 16sq in of port per cubic foot works fine, give or take a bit.

Keep note: you will lose power handling as the port area increases
