Ext cab truck: 4 Type Argh tens, enclosure question

Hey guys im currently in the process of getting my Alpine M-2000 and four Dual 4ohm 10" Type R's to throw in my 98 dodge ram ext cab. I currently have an alpine m-1000 and 2 12" type r's.

Anyways im trying to figure out how many cft i should build my box to and how i should fire the subs/aero ports.

What would you guys recommend for box size and firing??

how would subs forward and ports forward? ya or nay. i have my current setup a subs up and port forward and i just think i could be getting more outta them. Im hitting 137.9db on the TL with a 5cft box tuned to 33hz with 2 4" aero ports

I work at a shop that sells Alpine, so i get it at cost anyways. That is also why im not running DD, RE, etc etc subs.

The air that comes out of your port is Raw undeveloped energy (its not Bass yet) and sounds very bad pointing at your head or ears

I vote subs forward port up with 6 cubes and 16in of port per cube. Need a design? pm me.

One 8" port would only give me around 25 inch of port area? Not understanding your logic
