I love the Mavs, always have always will. They had a great team this year.

Dirk, Terry, Stackhouse, Howard...And others.

The Heat just wanted it more. Dallas had ample oppertunities to take the series and they slacked on it. Dirk was off the whole series...I do have to admit that Wade is a hell of a player in the paint.

I think you were the only Mavs fan through this whole thread that didn't get cocky about the Mavs. That's what true fans are all about. Usually the cocky ones are the bandwagon fans. I just let Miami's game speak for itself. I knew they were overmatched, and you knew Dallas was better talent wise. But that's why they play the game on the court and not on paper. I was hoping the Mavs would pull it out, but it was a great series overall. Going into this, I had not watched many of the Heat games, and thought Wade might have been overhyped by the media. Needless to say, he was not.

It was a good series. 3 of the games had me biting my nails and pacing like a crazy man til the last seconds.

I don't doubt one bit that Dallas will do well next season. I think the Heat will do well too. Now all we can do is sit back, watch the draft and see what changes are made in the of season.

i'm not huge on b-ball but since all my buddies were following and im always with them, i think its safe to say i learnt that:

a) wade is going to be the next big thing; 40+ points in finals.. only people to have ever done that is jordan and A.I?

b) pat riley DESERVED this championship.

c) shaq is better in a heats jersey.

d) norwitzki is clutch.

e) my friends hate GP too

f) i have no idea what im talking about.

It's a shame that his Finals turned out like that, because he was clutch all season and in the playoffs, especially against SA. He difinately didn't bring anything to the Heat series though.

I was in frisco last saturday. Went to dave and Busters. Its a really nice place you guys have like everything out there.
