So you can see most of my setup in my sig, but i see alot of people requiring a HO alt with only 900 RMS... Im close to prob about 1800 RMS with my PCA-2000D, at least i think i am... And i also have a stock alt (105A i believe). Anyways, my system does not cut out at all and i just want to know if it would hit way harder with a bigger alt? Or do you only get one when your ish cuts out? Im confused.

For a daily system, most people don't need a high output alt, they just think that they do. For a 900w system, no way. A daily system is better served by an extra battery for the simple reason that music does not lead to a high average amp draw. Without a high continuous draw there is no benefit to a high output alt.

haha i know... audiobahn.. its been working VERY well though surpisingly! Anyways, if i went with 2 FI Q's i should be sounding pretty **** good and loud? 12's or 15s?
