normal price is around 650-700$ How much are you getting it for? These just hit the market this year so no reports of counterfeits of this model yet. Actually head units dont get counterfeited often at all. The only thing that normally happens often is stores selling refurbished units as new.

Well, I went ahead and ordered. After looking around at all the other ones, they seemed like the only company that had well established sales records on both amazon and ebay. Although no one answered their phone when I tried calling a couple times. I'll just have to rely on the ebay buyer protection as they are always on the ball.
I ended up using them even though they were $25 more than other options for a $675 price. But the others had fake phone numbers, no verifiable physical address, ect... One store even listed a phone number as theirs (a2zcarstereo) but when I called it, it went to the less recommended onlinecarestereo! Hah! Now I just hope that Pioneer is able to make a firmware update for iOS 8 when that hits in a few days.
I'll update when I get things installed.

Well, I ordered through eBay with Discount Central Online, and received my HU five days later. Pioneer AVIC-6000NEX. Just finished installing it today! It's wonderful. But, main point, they were a great seller. I got a little nervous when it hadn't shipped for two days, couldn't get anyone on the phone, and hadn't gotten a response online. But that was just because they were still in the process of moving into their new warehouse. Other than that, everything is great! I'd buy from them again, but I'd still do it through either eBay's protection or Amazon. Better safe than sorry!
