Ive never seen someone do this so Im not sure it would work out like I think it would, but what do you think of this port setup? If this wouldnt work out properly please explain why cuz I cant see how it wouldnt.

Kinda hard to say it would or wouldnt without the speaker specs, box dimensions, port dimensions...... etc

Alright cool, thats what I figured I just wasnt sure if it would still work out the same.

I think the port should be square with the back wall.

my .02 no science, just my gut.

I usually see the subs/ports on the FLAT wall.

No, then there would be a port area change b/w the front opening and the rear opening which would in turn affect tuning...it would be inaudible really but for whats its worth, the slanted rear end would be correct.

sure, I still say take 'em out the flat side. I hate having to deal with that angled crap.

OO, I think I see what your saying. Are you suggesting running the port parallel to the back wall instead of the way he has pictured? I totally agree that I hate dealing with the angles crap in building and designin, lol.

just remember to keep a good amount between the topside *wall* or the port and the back f the box.

I sold it Now I can use all the power I have with my MD2, Ill be running rough 1800wrms to two 12" RL-Ps. Ill have thread with pics and vids of course
