i have stock 105 amp alt stock battry( i was planning on adding a kenitic 2400)to the rear and going with 1 btl 18 fully loaded if that will out perform my 2 15 cvrs

...

so basically what setup can slam harder then my 2 15 cvrs by a long shot

only 1 i have ben sugested was

1 fi bl 15 in 4 cubes with a ap1500d and a few kentics

1 Fi BTL 15 will definately be louder than the 2-15" cvr's with the right box. I say go for it.Plus you can add more power later to the BTL and get even louder.

look into fi, dc sound labs, and sundown. Id prefer a dc over fi, but you really cant go wrong either way

If you're getting a bigger amp, why not build a better box for your CVRs, and put respectable power to them? Not saying its better than switching subs...but why spend money before optimizing what you already have?

Getting multiple expensive batteries to run less than 1500w seems like a waste also. If your under hood battery is decent, just upgrade your power wire to 0awg, do big 3 (if you haven't already) and you should be fine.

4 cubes would be pretty small for an 18 btw...

Just trying to save you some dough and offer practical advice, hope it helps.

im going to build a bigger box for the cvrs(15s period)

and upgrade all wires(4/8awg from subs to amp)

then for the next thing was to replace them with like 2 btls or 2 bls....

i was gona do 2 l7 15s

I have a 15" RE HC that would be much louder the CVRs.

i have a trunk car so i am try to work in the max box size that will not trap the waves/pressure from getting to cabin

im also trying to figure a way to take out or change my rear seat but still have it to where atleast two people can sit (untile i get my next car goin)

I have a trunk car, single 15s have always sounded GREAT in my ride.

I just recently did a bunch of metal cutting to fit a bigger box for an 18"..

my trunk is only 16 1/2 may be 17 inches tall i would have to do sub up and box like 13 inches tall so it wont hit
