hmmm. That's a thought too. Maybe I will have to save up for the MTX TC6001.

So I figure I will sell my amp then and get a new one.

Will changing from 150 x 2 @ 4 ohms to 300 x 2 @ 2 ohms be a big increase in performace?

here are your options...

get a new amp that puts out 800w RMS either at 2 ohm or at 8 ohms x1

get DVC subs...dual 4ohm voice coils would either present a 1 ohm load or a 4 ohm load depending if series or parallel... then you could run 600 @ 4ohms x 1 to them...but you'd still be underpowering them...

it depends on what you mean by performance....it would be doubling ur power..so most likely it would be louder...idk about SQ because im not familiar with pioneer.
