Hi Guys,
Hello all I am new. I am really in a stupid and frustrating situation, that I won't draw out. Long story short I bought an amp and some subs about a year ago in ignorance at the mercy of a local retailer.
Equipment:
2x 4-ohm Pioneer TS-W306C's (400 RMS)
1x Coustic 1200S Amplifier
The amp provides 2x 150 at 4 ohms, 2x 300 at 2 ohms, or 600 x 1 at 4 ohms.
What is the best setup?
Should I run two at 4 ohms and only be getting 150 x 2?
Should I run them both in parallel over one channel for 300 watts at 2 ohms? (If possible)
Or can I run both subs in series at 8 ohms and bridge the amp? Does that work, would that give me 600 at 4 ohms, or 600 at 8 ohms? What would that be like?
Thanks guys, I really need some intelligent answers as I don't have any //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
