Expect DHL quality to drop to UPS level

DHL is probably one of the worst experiences of my life.

Every time i get something from DHL, i get a call from one of my 10 neighbors (thankfully they are all nice and honest) that i have a package on their doorstep...

I was considering switching to DHL.

UPS just denied the only damage claim I've ever filed with them. So unless my rep calls me back and they pay it they can say goodbye to 100% of my business to UPS Small Package and UPS Truck Freight.

A few months back I had a MT shipped to another member and UPS clearly beat the crap out of the package. They even attempted to tape it back up. I had Inusurance on it and everything and they still dropped my claim after making me wait for 3 weeks. Their final words were something like "Theres not enough evidence to show it is indeed UPS's fault."

I just hope DHl doesnt turn out like that

UPS owns their own insurance company. They pocket the money if they don't pay.

DHL, or at least the sub-contractor for them I spoke to, insured through Zurich. So, it's no money out of their pocket if your claim is paid.

We'll see what UPS says when my rep calls back... DHL is next on the list, then FedEx if they **** too.

I am to assume after reading this article that DHL will still have its same sub-contracted insurance company so maybe that part of their quality wont go down

They lost my support long ago.

My final straw with them was when they crossed the paperwork on two different orders that went out at the same time. Of course, when they go to "correct" the issue, they couldn't contact the person who received the more expensive product to do the swap out with the cheaper one he actually bought.

In the end they (UPS) damaged the cheaper unit and sent it back to me, on my bill of course. I ended up having to send out a second more expensive unit to the person who actually purchased it.

Oh, and it wasn't the first time they crossed two orders on me either. It was however the last.
