exhaust tip or exhaust system?

Did somebody seriously ask what engine is in a 525?
Hey, did you know BMW designates the engine right in the name?

525 is a 5-series with a 2.5 liter engine

DONT PUT NO EXHAUST ON THAT SHIT until you swap to a M5 motor or at least 540

It will be loud, but not go anywhere when you gun it. If that's the effect you want, get a nice European exhaust.... Dinan...

I agree if you're gonna put exhaust, in order to make it sound good you are gonna need to spend a lot of money...on a BMW I wouldn't bother...unless you are going for performance which judging from your feedback you're not. If you do put exhaust though, it's a German car... keep it that way!

Where did I come up with that? ANy BMW before 2006 is where.

I just reailzed that in 2006, they began straying away from accurate badging. As of 2006, you can get a 328 with a 3.0L in it.

Yep, hers is a 2006. I didnt know that they used to badge them the same as the engine.. my bad..

For that matter, i wouldnt put any exhaust system on there, i thought the 5's had bigger engines than that. flows, borla's, magna's might sound a little ricey on a 2.5l
