exhaust pipe question

hey i have a pile of a crap car but i wanna start making it look half decent in such but i was at a local store this week and i was checking out exhaust pipes and i saw a twin one my question is i wanna make lots of noise would a twin exhaust pipe do this?

if you wanna make lots of noise have no muffler at all, or get a flowmaster 40 series muffler. And talking about twin pipes are you talking about 2 exits or tips? whaet kind of car do you have too?
