i have a 1969 impala 4 door with a chevy sb and i have the Dynomax headers on it allready and dynomax turbo mufflers

i dont like how it sounds and am deffinatly putting flow masters on but what kind??

i want it to sound really good

my friend has a set on his 87 iroc-z camaro and it sounds really goood

What engine do you have.... a 350? And what does your buddy have...350 TPI ?

If the engines are the same, choosing the series of exhaust is a no brainer lol...

I'd get the 40 Delta or 50 Delta.

I'd also go with the 40-series Delta Flow. You get better performance and less interior resonance with the delta flow compared to the regular 40-series. But if you want really loud, go with the 30-series regular.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif But 40-series delta flows have a really nice tone to them, especially on chevys.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

You hook up a proper Flowmaster exhaust, mated with Hooker headers, and your in for a very agressive tone.

But then again, who uses mufflers anyway...exhaust straight off the manifolds is the way to go:D

Haha, i was thinkin of getting some headers for the ol' 4.3, maybe later. I heard a IROC camaro with open headers, d*mn that thing was loud.

Depending on the engine...not too much. Are you talking about the 40 Original or 40 Delta? The 40 series will be a bit more powerful, and agressive, but there isnt too much difference.

I still say 40 series or 50 series Delta, depending on your application. They work well on most domestic vehicles, car or truck, street or strip, etc.
