All through that youtube video, you mistate the voltage over and over again. When it reaches 12.99 you say it is at 12v. That is 13v range. Then when it hit 14.09 you say that is near 15v, but that is only really 14v. At no point did that meter show over 14.3v. So what is happening there is that your alt is not making any power at idle and only turns on over a certain RPM, which is normal for HO alts. You never showed 12.1v or the 16v which you stated above. You said in the video that your mids cut out, but there was no music playing? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gifi had a 300a ea alt would stay around 12.1 at idle then as soon as i would hit the gas it would spike to 16v and clip my amps search my username on youtube i have a vid of it on there
me either, but i got a nice discountI didn't get a cup or pens with me EA alt...
False Loopkiller, 3:03, if you watch it closely, it hits exactly 14.92volts, which, generally speaking, is close to 15v. Also, 3:33, I see 14.85v, 4:02, I see 14.97v, and 5:02, I see 14.67v.All through that youtube video, you mistate the voltage over and over again. When it reaches 12.99 you say it is at 12v. TEAM EXCESSIVE AMPERAGEIve run three alts from EA, never had one issue they all put out tons of power and lasted as long as I had the vehicles.
ORLY? Are you watching the same clip I was watching. Oh wait, that is right, you only watch it frame by frame. Well here is a LINK to the video I watched. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gifFalse Loopkiller, 3:03, if you watch it closely, it hits exactly 14.92volts, which, generally speaking, is close to 15v. From what I could see he was pretty spot on with the voltage, even more than I was (although watching it as a video doesn't help), so much that when he calls out the upper 14v numbers, you have to pause and watch frame by frame till you get to it, but it is there.
