my ea alt is a piece of shit, died on me and does not do shit for idle
Mine doesn't do anything at idle either, I was told by a mechanic that it's possible that since everything in my Blazer is controlled by the computer that the voltage regulator inside the alt is also being controlled by the computer and that could be a reason for lower amps at idle. Nate at EA sent me a smaller pulley in case that was the problem, but it ended up being the same one I had one there.

 
i had a 300a ea alt would stay around 12.1 at idle then as soon as i would hit the gas it would spike to 16v and clip my amps search my username on youtube i have a vid of it on there

 
I dont think hes looking for peoples opinions on EA though, he just wants us to feel happy for him cause he got his alt early, but we are all just giving opinions so I guess we will see how many pages this will get to
