I own a 91' Buick Park Avenue.

Head Deck: Pioneer 6500

Amp: MTX(1501) (2guage amp kit)

Subs: 3 Kicker Comp VR's 15"

Battery: Yellow Top Optima

Capacitor: 1 fared

I have this; but I have not yet installed it. My question is what's the keys places in side my vehicle I should Dynamat? Should I Dynamat the inside trunk hood? I was told to Dynamat the side walls inside the trunk. I could live with out the license plate rattles to.

I want it to be a clean strong bass

I used B-Quiet Ultimate to do my car. I used 100 square feet for the trunk and floorpan and ordered another 50 feet to do my door and roof. It is cheap enough that you can afford to do the entire vehicle. I am still working with the stock system until all my parts are fabricated and the sound seems to have become a little better. I am hoping when I do the doors and new speakers, I will really reap the benefits.

Pick up some close cell foam material and line the back of the license plate. Deaden the trunk hood, deaden the trunk walls with a good butyl rubber mat. Then go over the top of that with spectrum or sludge. inside the cabin, focus on the lower 2/3rds of the doors. You will want to throw at least two to three layers on that part of the doors. Spectrum over the top of the mat. Work on the floors next to the doors and the firewall behind the wheels. Use some of the open cell foam as extra liner for the floor to deaden even more spots. Done right and you will increase the effectiveness of the bass as well as kill road noise.

A couple things you will need to learn about. First off, don't use Dynamat unless you really want to pay the price for the low performance it yeilds. Second, ditch the cap and do it right... upgrade the Big-3. Otherwise, it looks like your system will be coming around to a good start.

or just put it in, bump it, examine where it rattles/vebrates/flexes the most...deaden that, then find any other vibrating noise makers and stuff duct tape in spot between the rattleing and wherever to brace it and get rid of the vibrating noise
