first of all how many amps is this wire rated for and how does it compare to flexaprene in the sense of flexibility and conductivity??

I've been trying to figure out how much it's rated for as well. It's pretty stiff wire but definitely workable. Flexaprane is rated at 450a @ 15ft so I imagine the excelene is around the same thing.

flexaprene was great wire when I had it. still can't find any specs on excelene though

since most welding wire has to be UL approved the amperage should be the same for them all regardless the brand. the main thing that changes is the flexibiltiy and outside coating
