put a hi performance fuel rail and a bigger turbo on the STI and itll smoke 99.9% of anything on the road. i personally love the styling of the STI also. i hear the evo has better ergos tho.. too late to thik of more reasons

STi hands down! Those Recaro seats in the Evo are kidney bleeders'! Plus, the Subie is MUCH more reliable than the Evo could ever be!

ohh an i know this is a old post but...

the evo seats are kidney nleeders only to fattys, and since when has the sti became a more reliable car then the evo...dont kid yourself neither are very reliable or well put together...part of the price you pay for that performance at that pricepoint...

I dont think its necessarily that they're not put together well, its that they're both incredibly complex and offered at a low price point. You're not going to get a bullet proof ****** for that price. (doing launches in an awd car can reek havoc on a transfer case, or what have you) etc. etc.

rwd = track, ftw.

awd is nice if you live in areas with actual weather, on the dirt (how often does that happen), they can be nice on tracks depending on who drives them and how as well.

but rwd really cannot be beat on the track... assuming the vehicles not overweight, and doesn't have a shit suspension, etc.

Those F1 cars **** at powering through corners ...

Thats why they're considering going to FWD or AWD. The front tires are just bored if they're not responsible for the whole work load.

Understeer is also great for racing.

Good luck on the EVO.........I didnt drive mine before buying it. Driving them both will only make your decision that much harder.
