every time i put an eq it makes a popping sound any help.

this is my 4th eq that i put in my car .everytime after i install 1 and i turn of the car of it makes my subs pop.but when the rcas are ran straight to the deck theres no ground noise or popping.the eq was new and im runnin new krysatal rcas.it did it with all 4 eqs .any help

in some cases that is a sign that you have your gains too high on the amp.
