Dude you need to run the REM from the HU so when the HU turns on it turns the amp on LOLOLOL

Test the wire from your HU with a DMM. Make sure it is seeing a 12v signal when on.

Just for future reference...easy way to trouble shoot this is to grab a DMM and make sure the REM wire is sending 12V to the amplifier.

 
whats a price for a cheap one of those? about? for future refrence. I sent my directed in with 15 dollars for shipping because it is under warranty to dei. Should i let them bench test it and what not to make sure there is nothing wrong? or should i just tell them to send it back? im curious about this. IM paying for my stupid mistake.
