My system is:

2, 12" Assassin subwoofers

1.25 ft^3 each, sealed box

Profile AP1000M (500W RMS x 1 @ 2 ohms)

in the trunk of a 1999 Honda Accord facing the tail lights

WinISD says they peak at 117dB @ 60Hz (f3 = 40.4Hz)

What do you think I'm actually getting?

If I go to a ported box, 3.5 ft^3 combined chamber tuned to 32Hz WinISD says 120.3dB @ 54 Hz (f3 = 34.5Hz)

How accurate do you think that is? Am I really going to get 3dB for 'free' just by making a new box?

I'm giving you 3 free db now!

The answer is: There is no answer to that question. WinISD can model something higher, but until it's in the car and meter on a TL, there's no way to REALLY tell.

go to a local audio shop and have them test it...or wait for a sound comp to head to your part of town and be praised or made fun of whatever but if i had to guess i would say........pi times r squared

Simply answer is that know one can tell you exactly. We can guess, which the others decided to bash.

A logical guess would be between 135-140db. You never know though, there could be many things that make my guess incorrect.
