Ok guys, got some plans....

2 - 18" XXXs ported

2(if need be 3) sets - XXX mids

1 set- Horns - not sure which brand yet

I figure go with the horns since RE only selling XXX mids.

As far the amps....still unsure, think i might shell out and get either

Hifonics 2200D

Orion 2500D

Helix (love this brand, not sure how its goin to work)

Those are some 4 now, any additions feel free to recommend

WELL ..... What i want to now is which EQ's and for which part would the guys on here that KNOW what they are talkin about get?

I'd like to sta with one company but as far as the EQs go, i don't care at this point.

I've been looking into

AudioControl

Zapco - seems interesting

Orion/4got the other brand - they are the same

Just to name a few.

Give me some brands and some model numbers so i can begin the research.

I loved my 4.1 but it did not have enough outputs

the ID 31band EQ would match up nicely with anything you decide to choose.

look at Image Dynamics horns, the mini bodies will be alot eaiser to fit that full bodies, but these are quite pricey. see if you cant find them used.

look on ebay - image dynamcis stuff

im sure an ID EQ will come up sometime. you also need to get an active crossover, preferably (if not nessicary) a 24db\oct crossover- at least for the HPF. the ID 31 (think) does this, so does the Crossfire CFQ (this is what i have, but they are mono and will only EQ one channel)

go over to icxsound forums (or whatever) i think they know quite a bit more then i do.

also PM Audiolife, he got me into this horn setup- he knows his shit.
