I'm looking to add an equalizer to my (passive) system to give me more control than my 3 band equalizer in my (JVC) HU gives me. . I'm mainly concerned about tailoring my front (CDT) components and ambiant tweeters but would likely do the rears as well. ( I'm currently running a (alpine) 4 channel amp for the speakers and a (profile) sub amp). I don't want to loose the ability to adjust the Sub output from my HU so don't care about sub friendly features. I've searched but can't find any specific recommendations for current models in my budget. Can anybody recommend a good 7 band (or better) equalizer that can be had for under $150?
Considering the Clarion 7 band for under $100. Is that a decient unit?
