eq turn off pop

i have tried to add a clarion 746 equalizer to my system, but every time i hook it up i get a loud pop through my sub when i turn the truck off. does anyone know what the problem is and how can i get rid of it. i have a jvc avx-706 head unit and 2 mtx amps. 1- 4 channel and 1- 1501d for my sub

I get it from my hu. Try a better ground, but its probabily a matter of finding a remote power source that turns on the same time as your hu and amps.
