EQ or center channel speaker?

Well I have a 1/2 DIN opening under my Hu that is a pocket that I can't even fit my fingers in. Now would a center channel speaker be worth it being as the only one I've seen is the clarion which is 25RMS and the rest of my system is like 100RMS from each corner?

Or should I go with a 1/2 DIN EQ? I've never had an EQ and haven't seen a reason to have one with low/high pass filters on my HU and amps and everything but they must be produced for some reason, right? Just give me your insight or should I just leave everything alone and work on something else?

i'd go neither.do you need a center channel or an eq?

i'd probably glass over the pocket and put switches in it for something.
