Cross overs seem kind of essential.

I was looking at the epicenter things today, kind of weird i don't quite understand it.

If you have a kick *** headunit that does it all for you.. why add more things to the signal chain? That will just be more of an opportunity for something to go wrong and for signal degredation.

depends on how far you are willing to go. You're surely not going to win any SQ comps running only your HU for processing. IMO. Not many HUs with seperate eq's for each channel. If you have the money I suggest looking into the alpine 701 combo, Excellent processor that does pretty much everything you can think of except for a built in RTA of course.
