Enough power

I have two kicker compvr 10" subs that are 2 ohm, with a rms rating of 300w.

I was looking at the kicker kx600.1 amp and was going to wire the subs together to give 300w rms to each of them, I was also wondering, to save some money, if I should just get the kx400.1 and send 200w to each sub.

I was just wondering if the kx400.1 would be good enough?

unless you just want to stay with kicker, there are alot cheaper amplifier companies out there that you could get more bang for the buck.
Ok, thanks, but what are some other brands that are good. Also, would I have to worry about clipping if I went with the kx400.1.
