Enough ^3????

I was planning on getting 2 12s to go with my jbl amp and the ones ive kinda narrowed it down to are the CompVrs and Type Rs. Im kinda leaning toward the Type Rs cuz of the new design //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif and supposably better power handling. Now my question is... I have around 1.5 cubes per sub to play with. Will this be enough for 12s ported? I think im just going to go sealed for now but if I plan on porting later on I want to know if I have enough space. Or should i Just get 10s?

Im used to big enclosure drivers, so 1.5 seems a little small. Check the manufacturers website and see what they recommend for porting.

well the Type Rs say .75-1.75 for ported on 12s. So I gess 1.5 falls between those lines. On the CompVRs they say 1.75 - 2.++ whatever so I can cross the Vrs out of it. Basically what I narrowed it down was to 2 10s CompVrs or 2 12s Type Rs. I just want to see how cheap I can get the Type Rs.

Jesus...if you can give the 3 cubes total NET....they'll work great ported...as long as you can fit that NET. peace

What are you talking about? The two 12's would work well in 3 cubes NET...GROSS Volume would be more...gross is: Net Volume + Port Displacement + Driver Displacemnt
