Engine whine

im starting to get engine whine from my speakers, i never had this problem before, i just started to hear it now and it pretty loud, i also hear a poping noise when i changed the station, changed songs, switch radio to cd. someone told me that it that my battery is getting weak, can a weak battery cause this?

Sounds like a loose ground on your HU if you touch the HU and you hear popping.

Check all grounds, if possible, connect all ground wires to one point. If all grounds are solid, try using an "ground loop isolator." I had a loud alt wine, checked all grounds (and it is solid), then I put a ground loop isolator, front and rear, and the noise is reduced to bearly audible. It is enough for me, I don't plan on entering any sound competion.
