engine whine

i wanted to get some thoughts on an engine whine problem. Ive got both of my amps powered and grounded on the top of my cap. Im getting whine when i turn the blower fan on and it gets worse when i turn the air on. the noise is only in the tweeters. Ive tried to reground the cap but it didnt help. My next step is grounding the 4ch by itself. Just wondering is anyone had any HELPFUL info.

My first instinct would be that your amps need to be grounded somewhere other than to the cap itself.

But - it's possible that your grounding point for the cap isn't solid enough for the cap as well as both amps. Try re-grounding the cap (or scraping any existing paint from the spot it is already grounded to if any is present to make certain that it's getting good ground at that location) and see if your problem disappears.

Beyond that there are endless possibilities not knowing the specifics of your system. Faulty interconnects - bad crossovers on your components - who knows....kinda hard to narrow it down with such basic info provided.

when i regrounded i did make sure it was solid. As far as specifics, i have brand new monster xln 301 four channel rcas, and brand new infinity ref componets. All wireing is new straight to the crossover (no factory wiring).The amp is a infinfity 7541A also new.

Then ground your amps to a different location than to the negative post of the capacitor would be my next suggestion.

All that Infinity gear and Monster interconnects - where'd ya get it from? I made an assumption that may prove to have been in error and if so, I'll apologize in advance.
