Engine whine problem...not your normal bs

Ok so i have this horrendous engine whine. I have knu krystal rca's, i have added a good ground to my hu, i have wrapped the rca terminals on my hu with a ground, and the closest my rca's come to the power wire is 2 ft away. At this point i am thinking i need a new hu...any ideas? Thanks

edit: i also have all of my amps grounded to one distro block and that has a wire going straight to the battery

try an external source and see if it goes away

hmm good idea

edit: hooked my xm up to it directly and still had it...i guess its not my hu then

now take the amp out of the vehicle find an alternate power source and try that

swapped out amps and it fixed it...thanks for your help
