Engine Noise in left Tweeter, Even with amps and HU off!

wow dude ur ****in dumb...
read his first post...
lol, not sure if you realised mate, but the power cable still has power on it, even when the amp is off.

this means, that alternator noise would still be on the line, and could be seen with a CRO, or in this case, very likely be induced into the tweeters crossover, or speaker wire //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

now, it would be much appreciated if you stopped calling me names, and stopped posting all together, seeing as you clearly have nothing constructive to add.

thankyou.

alright, so it still carrys power why would it only be tweeter recieving wine and not the rest of the speakers or mid, or other tweeter?.....

all he did was change sub amp...

because like I said, the power cable is probably inducing noise into one of the crossovers, or speaker wires... meaning, that... ah, forget it, why am I even bothering trying to explain this to you, when clearly you're not going to get it?

NEW INFO*********

I unplugged the wiring that goes amp to the tweeter crossover and guess what?

The noise is still there... specially when I turn on the car... any advice? could it be the power cable that is pretty close to the tweeter ? how far away should it be?

Thanx!

oh and the tweeter wires dont seem to be broken or spliced...

No, sorry what I meant is that when I crank the car the noise starts a bit louder and then quiets down a bit when the engine is fully started.

Also another thing... Can the ground wires generate noises too by this I mean the ground wire itself passing near a crossover?

So it makes the noise even with no wires connected to the input of the crossover?

If so, my guess would be that it has to do with the placement of the crossover itself.

no... it makes the noise when no wires are even connected to the tweeter... lol

which would mean that the noise isn't even coming from the tweeter... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

its the crossovers, they do this noise but only near ground wires anyone can explain why only on grounds but not on powers?
oh, so it is the crossovers? like I said a few pages ago, and was flamed for? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

the ground that its picking up noise from could be a bad ground.
