I can only hear a very quiet whinning sound from the engine on the passenger side tweeter, but it still does it when the HU and amps are off?

any input? This just happened since I installed my gt-22 boston amplifier next to my gt-40, and I used the existing grounds and power cables of the old amp and never had engine noise... any input?

yes but this all happend since I changed my subwoofer amp, nothing else was changed including grounds and power wires, and I never had any noise before
the switchmode powersupply in the subwoofer amplifier could be inducing noise into the tweeters crossover //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

ofcourse, this may not be the issue at all, but its very possible.

and youre running like 10 feet of speaker wire to the tweeter?
probably not a good idea //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
stfu ur dumb.... that 10 feet dosent mean SHIT...

also if u have engine noise from just one tweeter... check ur crossover.

who the **** wrapps there power cable and speaker cable... together.... and if this guy has boston stuff i dont think he is that **** stupid...

also wtf does it matter if it is ALL POWER IS OFF that power cables will still carry over engine wine???

speaker wires, rcas and power cables they all run separately, so you guys think that moving the crossovers might help? the tweeter crossover is pretty close to the fuse casing and power cables tought. because they all come toghether in the amp rack.

moving it may very well help, the only way to find out, is to try it :p

just turn the system on, so you can hear the noise, and move the crossover around, and see if it makes any difference.

what are you talking about? lol
wow dude ur ****in dumb...

read his first post...
