Enclosure reccomendations for 12" RE XXX

Since its for a garage stereo and not a car, I'd say go around 3ft3 with tuning in the low to mid 20's.

yes it's the new version, the maximum optimum suggest is only 2.2 cubic feet, can I bump it up to 3 or 4 cubic feet to reduce port length?

for the new style, try 5 cubes tuned to 25hz

never built a ported box so i want to give it a try. Using an online port calculator a 5 cube box tuned in the high 20's requires 82 sq. inches of port is this correct? I'm going by the 54mm of excursion listed on the website. Is that an inflated number?

dude. you have no idea. Iv seen this sub in 4-5 cubes sealed and still could use more.

6 cubes sealed it is i guess then, sounds good.
