Enclosure in door for Kicker 6.5 component speakers

I am working on a Porsche Speedster replica and would like some advice about my speaker setup. I have a pair of 6.5 Kicker component speakers and want to know if I should set up the doors in a certain way to get best sound. Do they work best if I seal up the whole door area and make a port? I cannot shoot a picture on here I must be a rookie at this.

Car door interiors are never perfectly sealed. You don't need it sealed for midrange components. For a subwoofer you need perfectly sealed or ported enclosure because the enclosure air pressure determines how well the subwoofer performs and how much current it draws. Car door interior acts like an infinite baffle enclosure when used with midrange comps. No port. Good idea to line inside of car door (and other parts of car) with soundproofing material to decrease road noise.
