So I drive a 2003 MKIV Jetta and I just ordered a Resonant Engineering 2005 XXX15" Subwoofer and a Sundown SAE-1200D Amplifier for it. I'm not sure of the exact dimensions that I can fit the box in there, but I will try and measure them later today. I need something that will hit the lows very well, and I was mostly considering a ported box. I'm looking for some advice and possibly some designs on a box for it. When I used to have subs in this car, I would keep one of the rear seats folded down which acted like a built in port even thought I already had a ported box. I will most likely do the same thing with this new sub, and I havent really gotten a taste of what a sealed box can do.
