Enclosure and sub help

I want to install subs and a box in the trunk of my 06 Charger.I have an mtx 450 watt mono block amp to push.I wanted to run 2 12's.What can I run as far as subs and for an enclosure should it be ported, sealed,or a bandpass.I like the sound of the Alpine type R.I am limited on space due to spare tire access. Also limited on budget.Any help or advice would be appreciated.

ported generally is going to give you better volume/bass while sealed is going to give you accuracy. Bandpass is kind of a hybrid of both. If you are low on space it might be a good idea to consider one more powerful sub. Just a suggestion but its a great way to save space. or you could go with 2 thin subs.

The max dimensions I have to work with are 30"w x21"l x 18"h in the front of the box and 14" in the rear of the box.I thought about 3 10's but don't have the width to do it.But a ported box would give the best all around. How are the kicker comp 12's?Are they any good?
